Intern doctor released on bail after data probe
An intern doctor on Saturday was given bail after she was arrested on suspicion of accessing a computer with criminal or dishonest intent. The 24-year-old was taken to Caritas Hospital in the afternoon to help out with evidence collection. She must report back with the police next month. Her arrest last night came after was she suspected of using another person's account to log in to a clinical management system without authorisation and browse the records of a Tuen Mun Hospital patient. Earlier, the Hospital Authority said it had dismissed the intern doctor following a probe into a series of misconduct allegations. Edited by Azam Khan
