【明報專訊】The Housing Bureau has released the latest quarterly composite waiting time (綜合輪候時間) for public housing. Over the past 12 months, the waiting time for general applicants is 4.7 years. Compared to the peak of 6.1 years, the waiting time has shortened by more than one year. A government official said that the improvement was due to the construction of Light Public Housing and efforts to combat tenancy abuse.
