US industry leaders give thumbs-up on summit sidelines
The reaction of the US industry titans to meetings held on the sidelines of the summit between President Xi Jinping and his American counterpart Donald Trump was positive. Trump has said his first request to Xi will be to "open up" China to US industry. When asked how the meetings went, Apple chief executive Tim Cook gave a thumbs-up. Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang, who only joined Trump's delegation to Beijing at the last minute, said "the meetings went excellent". For his part Tesla and Space X boss Elon Musk said he wanted to accomplish "many good things" here. (Additional reporting by Reuters) Edited by Edmond Fong
