A wartime grenade found in Aberdeen Country Park has been safely defused and removed, police said on Wednesday. The force was alerted to the device at around 9.20 am by an employee of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Bomb disposal officers attended the scene and neutralised the British Army grenade on-site. No one was injured and no evacuation was required, officers said.
